Sacha Geier studied medicine in Basel and completed her doctoral thesis in diabetology under Prof. W. Berger. From her initial clinical work as a specialist and later in her career as Chief Physician for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, she is thoroughly familiar with the entire acute somatic clinical field in the Swiss healthcare system. Through her transition into hospital management, she successfully led multiple hospitals through change, transformation, and challenging digitalization projects. Through the pandemic, she is well-versed in hospital leadership and knows the C-level area comprehensively.

She values continuous education; she has completed an MBA, attended the AMP at Harvard Business School, and earned a master's degree in digital and cultural transformation while working.
